Recycling is one of the most pressing issues of the new decade. The Management Office is eager to ensure that our building tenants and we do our part to help extend the life of current landfill areas. All tenants are required to implement the sorting of recyclable materials and trash within their offices for the following materials:
- Paper
- Plastic Bottles/Cans
- Trash
- Cardboard
Disposal of the above materials within your office can be implemented in the following ways as needed:
Paper
The blue recycle containers have been designated as the paper container for janitorial disposal. Depending on the needs of your office, the blue containers can be positioned at each desk and/or near the copy machine. However, it is recommended that you place the paper container in a central location for your staff. The blue containers are not provided by the building.
Plastic Bottles & Cans
The tenant must designate and clearly label a container for disposal of plastic bottles & cans. Be advised, janitorial will place a clear liner in these receptacles, so that on site sorting can be easily accomplished. We recommend that these containers are placed in a central area such as the kitchen/break rooms.
Cardboard
On occasion, cardboard is acquired in a tenant space. All cardboard must be broken down and placed neatly in the bin located at the service elevator landing behind the corridor doors for janitorial pick-up.
Trash
Unless clearly marked for recycled material, all unidentified wastebaskets will be lined with black bags for the disposal of trash. Trash containers can be placed in a central location, such as the kitchen/break rooms.
